Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Brian joined Dr. Gerard Ateshian's Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory in 2010 working to measure in-situ joint friction. His current research is focused on the biomechanics of articular joints and an innovative osteochondral grafting technique.
